Bariatric Gel Recliner Pad

The Bariatric Gel Recliner Pad is used over the existing recliner cushion of a Geri Chair, Lazy Boy, Lift Chair, Power Chair and more in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. The Bariatric Gel Recliner Pad supports 450 lbs and offers comfort, support and pressure redistribution for individuals who sit for extended periods of time during the day. This cushion is excellent for improving comfort during home dialysis. 19" X 70" X 4".

Our Bariatric Gel Recliner Pad is one of the only pads on the market that is Manufactured entirely in the USA! Handmade to exacting medical standards by Blue Chip Medical, the recliner overlay fits most standard geri-chair recliners and is also ideal for Lazy Boy Recliners, Lift Chairs, Power Chairs and more.

The cushion is made from three sections. The back section and seat section of the overlay is constructed with Gel Flex Channel. Gel Flex channel is constructed of a high density foam utilizing SCT surface cut technology. This creates rows of foam "springs" with channels in between. Soft Gel Flex is poured an aqueous, highly viscous gel that is encapsulated in a high density foam shell that relieves pressure and pain. The Gel Recliner Overlay has a special heel protection wedge for the prevention of heel ulcers. Our overlay is covered with Vyvex-III™ Stretch Cover and a non-skid Bottom to keep the overlay securly in the recliner. An adjustable safety strap secures the overlay for added safety. Cover material is anti-microbial, fire-retardant and is easy to clean with medical cleans or a simple 8% bleach and water solution. 

Bariatric and custom sizes available. Cushion is available in a stock size of 29" x 70" x 4" to support up to 800 lbs.
