Blue Chip Medical Prevent Series Replacement Mattress Covers.

Prevent Series Replacement Cover:
Replacement covers are available for Blue Chip Medical's Prevent Series pressure redistribution mattress systems. The series consists of The Prevent Pro, Prevent Elite, Prevent Supreme, Prevent Suspension  & Prevent RC. All covers are constructed of Vyvex™ material that transfers moisture away from the patient’s skin. The cover is low shear, washable, anti-microbial, fluid-resistant, and fire retardant. The cover is loose fitting and will conform to the patient.

Vyvex-lll™
Vyvex-lll™ is a 4-way stretch urethane coated fabric with a low moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR). A low MVTR is desired for the benefit of infection
control and the wicking of fluids away from the skin. Vyvex-lll™ is fluid proof and offers low-shear, low-friction protection, is anti-microbial, fire retardant, stain-resistant, and washable. This cover features Blue Chip’s exclusive Barrier Lok™ infection control system. Vyvex-lll™ is standard on the Suspension Pre-Vent II Series® mattress system and is available as an option on all other models.

Vyvex-ll™ – Vyvex-l™
Vyvex-ll™ is Nylon Butyl-backed; Vyvex-l™ is a Nylon PVC-backed top cover with a low moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR). Vyvex-ll™ and Vyvex-l™ are both fluid proof and offer low-shear, low-friction protection and are anti-microbial, fire retardant, stain-resistant, and washable. This cover features Blue Chip’s exclusive Barrier Lok™ infection control system. Vyvex-ll™ is standard on the Supreme and Elite Pre-Vent II Series® mattress systems. Vyvex-l™ is standard on the Pro Pre-Vent II Series® and Pre-vent RC mattress system. Soft to the touch but not slippery, the low shear cover helps prevent shearing injuries. Vyvex-III is fluid-resistant and cleans easily with approved medical cleaners for rated for porous surfaces or a simple bleach/water solution.

Secure Guard™
Eliminates mattress movement during patient transfers and nursing care. This Multi-purpose accessory allows the mattress to be secured to the bed frame while doubling as a flat sheet hold-down device. Secure Guard™ is an option on all Prevent models.
