One of the most difficult and dangerous tasks for Caregivers at home is patient repositioning and transfer. AirPod® makes repositioning in bed or lateral transfer from bed easy and safe for both the patient and the caregiver. 

AirPod® features a unique air-assisted pad that makes patient repositioning and lateral transfer easy and safe. Air-Pod® reusable pad and high power blower use air to help break the friction between the patient & mattress and off-load the patient's body weight. This makes it possible for a caregiver to reposition a patient with minimal effort.

Injury to the caregiver during patient repositioning or transfer is the most common injury in the US. Air-Pod® offers safe patient handling and transfers as well as preventing injuries for caregivers.

PATENTED AIR POD TECHNOLOGY

Patented AirPod technology automatically profiles and self-adjusts to the individual patient. This provides a balanced redistribution of the patient’s body weight for the safest and easiest patient transfer. Thirty-four air-assisted pods work in unison to automatically profile and self-adjust to the individual patient. This evenly redistributes the pull/push forces for a safe, easy transfer.
