What is Gel Flex and why is it better than foam
Gel Flex is a Certipur™ Certified PPF Foam with SCT™ technology. This technology creates hundreds of individual pressure redistribution zones that provide maximum comfort and aid in the prevention of pressure sores. A semi-solid flexible gel (Gel-Flex™) provides maximum support.

Supportive, Comfortable and Thinner
Gel-Flex™ allows us to create a cushion that is thinner, more comfortable and more supportive than a bariatric foam wheelchair cushion supporting similar weights.

Cover Material
The Gel-Flex Bariatric Wheelchair Cushion is covered in a low-shear multi-stretch urethane. The give of the soft to the touch, multi-stretch material provides additional comfort and protection against skin shearing injuries. The top cover material is anti-microbial, fluid-proof, stain resistent and low friction.  The bottom cover is a durable medical grade nylon.

The Gel-Flex™ Bariatric Wheelchair Cushion easily wipes clean with a simple bleach/water solution or medical wipe suitable for porous surfaces
